Autumn seed planting
Thinking of spring. Calendula, Nigella and Hesperis all appearing. Hopefully a head start for next year. I love that gardening makes you think of brighter times to come on this cold and wet November day!

My Rambling Rector rose is looking and smelling gorgeous I only planted it last year and it is already covering an untidy patch of brambles and weeds. I know the flowers won’t last long but really appreciating them on this beautiful, sunny day here in our little corner of Cornwall.
Michaelmas Daisies and Kaffir Lily. Lovely autumn colour.
Love this view through the mixed perennial bed up towards the woods Lots of Ox Eye Daisies (probably too many!) Canterbury Bells, Alchemilla Mollis and Agapanthus in bud. The flowers in this bed are like a constant succession of old friends returning. Always pleased to welcome them back!
I have to grow my seeds initially indoors as in the mice in the poly tunnel scratch the earth in the seed trays and disturb the seeds! The mice and slugs are ganging up on me!
